Marcello Martinez Vega
Marcello Martinez Vega was born on1962 in Ibarra, Ecuador. He studied sculpture and painting at the College of Plastic Art Daniel Reyes, in San Antonio de Ibarra and the Faculty of Plastic Art at The Central University of Ecuador in Quito. He lives and works in Freiburg, Germany.
Vegas painting and sculpture is violently and radically, without compromise or consideration for the “good taste”. It strikes us as too violent and only if we drop all semiskilled assessment exhibits, his work speaks to us, but this is with all his outrageous energy.
