Exhibition Close to Earth to Mark the 80th Anniversary of Artist Stasys Jusonis

Stasys Juškus Gallery, the pioneering private gallery in Vilnius, will meet the Spring by presenting the exhibition Close to Earth (Arti žemes) of Stasys Jusonis, one of the best-known Lithuanian art classics. Over thirty artworks of the artist will be displayed in the exhibition breathing of romantic nature that is to be opened on 4 March. This jubilee exposition is dedicated for the 80th birthday of the artist.

“We would like to pay respect to the gifted artist who brings us back to the embrace of nature when the Spring is drawing near,” – says exhibition organiser Donatas Juškus. He notes that the exhibition consists of artworks painted in different periods of the artist’s creative life. The landscapes and portraits prevail. According to Mr Juškus, the residents and guests of Vilnius can visit the exhibition Close to Earth until the beginning of April.
